About Knife Medic
The neighborhood knife guy
I'm Ryan. I'm from Gurnee, and I'm the Knife Medic.
I got into sharpening to make cooking easier for myself. Then I realized how many people were working with dull knives without knowing how dull they'd gotten. Most of us were never taught how to sharpen a knife, or how often it needs doing.
So I started Knife Medic to make that part
easy, so you can get back to enjoying cooking.
Mailing your knives off or finding somewhere to drop them off is a hassle. I come to you, pick them up from your porch, and bring them back sharp by Saturday or Monday. I do the sharpening myself, and I take pride in the work.
